What is NFV? What is a VNF? That’s “network function virtualization” and “virtual network functions.” This begins a series of workshops dedicated to running “VNF-Asterisk” -- using Asterisk as a Virtual Network Function. Leif Madsen and Doug Smith have been exploring technology gaps in cloud native NFV workloads, and have been using Asterisk to explore the gaps. Doug & Leif are here to introduce these concepts and arm you with the knowledge so you can put your hands on the keyboard and explore vnf-asterisk yourself.
